Potting Shed Ceilidh (barn dance)

Come and join us for an evening of food and dancing on Saturday, 17 September!
7:30 p.m. at the Barn, NG23 6BB. Tickets £15 and £5 for children.

With BBQ / hog roast supper (+ veggie options), homemade puddings and bar with locally-brewed beer!

There will be opportunity to hear an update on the Keframa School project in northern Uganda. All proceeds from the evening will go to Keframa School Build Fund.

The ceilidh will be led by musicians Tom Kitching and our own Edwin and Heather Beasant, with caller Michelle Holding – one of the country’s best ceilidh callers!

What is a ceilidh?
The word comes from the Gaelic word for "gathering" or "party" and is pronounced "kay-lee". It’s a lot like a barn dance, but rather than American-style music and dancing, it’s more English/Scottish/Irish – or even sometimes European or Scandinavian!
It’s great fun and everyone can take part, young or old, beginners through to experienced dancers... even those with two left feet!
The caller will guide you clearly through the steps and the lively band will ensure to keep you bouncing!

Get your tickets now so that we can place our order with Bofs Hogs – hog roast / BBQ and ensure the most fabulous feast!

To pay by bank transfer and receive an e-ticket, you can send £15 per ticket wanted to: CAF Bank, sort code: 40 52 40, account number: 00031729 (The Potting Shed Church), reference: 17 Sept. Drop us an email at office@thepottingshedchurch.org to receive your e-tickets.
Alternatively, if you would like to pay by cash or using the card machine you can do so at the barn on Sundays – see Heather Beasant.
